The not-very-scary stories are a mixture of 1st and 2ndhand stories that never pack any kind of punch. The whole book has a very desultory, almost bored tone. But I wouldn't have rated it so low had not the first chapter been on that most over-used staple of mediocre ghost books,|About the Author|Al Chewning owns and operates the Virginia Beach Ghost Walk.
